We also collect usage data such as how you interact with the app, device identifiers, push notification tokens, and crash reports to improve the product. If you sign in via Apple or Google, we receive the profile information you authorize through those services.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to operate the Lovatar AI service, build and personalize your avatar, assess compatibility with other users, send product updates, and improve our AI models. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
AI and Avatar Data
Lovatar AI creates an avatar that represents your communication style and preferences. During the avatar phase, your identity remains private — other users interact with your avatar, not your personal profile. Conversations handled by your avatar are processed by our AI systems to evaluate compatibility. We store conversation metadata for this purpose. Raw message content is not shared with other users without your consent, and your profile details are not revealed until you choose to step into direct chat.
Data Sharing
We share data only with trusted service providers (cloud infrastructure, analytics, payment processors) who are contractually obligated to protect it. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Deleted data is removed from our systems within 30 days.
